- Understanding the wind
- Flying a small trainer kite
- Flying a 4 line inflatable kitesurf kite
- Self rescue- what to do if it all goes wrong!
Lesson 2
4 hours in the water Maximum student to instructor ratio 2:1
- Safety and site assessment
- Setting up a kitesurf kite
- How to body drag in all directions possible and steadily improve your kite control
- Very importanly, how to relaunch your kite when it crashes into the sea
- Recap of the self-rescue technique.
Lesson 3

- Recap of Water Re-launch
- Board Start Theory
- First Controlled Rides
