We’ve put plenty of hours on this kite, so here’s our honest take. It’s slightly slower than the V1 — but that’s the clever part: it makes the jumping sweet spot much bigger, so getting your timing right and boosting big is genuinely easier. The glide is as good as some of the top five-strut kites we’ve tested, which is seriously impressive for a three-strut. The loop is more powerful than the V1, but the kite still drives through nicely and gives you plenty of time after the loop to spot your landing. You get real second lift, direct control and a very easy-handling kite throughout. This is our go-to Aluula performance kite — the one we reach for when we want to send it.
