Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 25 October 2026

These terms apply to every order placed on unitywatersports.co.uk. Please read them before you order. If you have any questions, contact us before placing your order.

1. Who we are

This website is run by Unity Watersports, a trading name of Karl Tidy, sole trader, of The Shipyard, Rope Walk, Littlehampton, West Sussex BN17 5DG.

Contact us by phone on 01903 896924, by WhatsApp on 07825 706869, or by email at hello@unitywatersports.com.

2. Placing an order

When you place an order you will receive an email acknowledging it. This is not an acceptance of your order. A contract is formed when we email to confirm your order has been dispatched, or when you collect it from our shop.

We may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if there is an obvious pricing error, or if we cannot deliver to your address. If we do, we will tell you and refund any payment in full.

3. Stock and pre-orders

Some products are shown as available on backorder. These are ordered in from the manufacturer or distributor after you order. We will give you an estimated delivery date and keep you updated. If an item becomes unavailable, we will offer you an alternative or a full refund.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include UK VAT at 20%. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken when you place your order.

If we discover a pricing error after you have ordered, we will contact you and you can either pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Delivery

Delivery times, areas and charges are set out on our Delivery page. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to you or to someone you nominate.

We currently deliver to UK addresses only.

6. Your right to cancel

If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of the day you receive the goods, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Full details of how to cancel and return goods are on our Returns & Refunds page.

This right does not apply to goods made to your specification, including Ozone custom colour kites, wings and parawings.

7. Faulty goods

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. Products are also covered by the manufacturer’s warranty; we will help you make a warranty claim.

Normal wear and tear, damage caused by accidents, misuse, incorrect rigging or storage, and damage from use outside the manufacturer’s recommendations are not faults.

8. Safety

Kitesurfing, wing foiling, foiling and other watersports carry a risk of serious injury. Use equipment only within your ability and the manufacturer’s guidelines, and get proper instruction before using unfamiliar equipment. Advice we give on product choice is given in good faith and is not a substitute for lessons from a qualified instructor.

9. Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

If you are buying as a business, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect losses.

10. Your information

We use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.

11. Disputes

If you have a complaint, please contact us first and we will do our best to resolve it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of those countries.
