AXIS Super Easy Start (SES) Complete Foil Package

As the name suggests, the AXIS SES complete package is super easy to get started on, at an attractive price point. The SES range is modular and fully compatible with the rest of the AXIS red fuselage range, giving a clear progression route: as your skills improve you can change the front wing, the rear wing or the mast length without buying a whole new setup.

Built around the AXIS 19mm alloy mast system, each package includes the 75cm mast, the latest 19mm base plate and the moderate-length 725mm SES fuselage, which is ideal for beginner and intermediate foilers. The SES fuselage integrates the AXIS “doodad” into the fuselage, enhancing system rigidity while reducing components and simplifying assembly.

SES foils use a Paulownia wood core with hybrid glass construction and ship with custom-fit covers. Drawing on the easy turning of the AXIS BSC range, the SES has a slightly reduced aspect ratio for even easier, smoother lift, and rounded tips for safety.

Which SES package?

• SES 1040 – riders 80 kg and over, or any rider where light winds or small surf prevail (span 1040 mm, area 1957 cm²)
• SES 940 – riders under 80 kg, or heavier riders in medium/high winds or bigger surf (span 940 mm, area 1668 cm²)
• SES 840 – children or riders under 70 kg, or heavier riders in medium/high winds or bigger surf (span 840 mm, area 1334 cm²)

The 940 and 1040 packages use the SES 450 rear stabiliser; the 840 package comes with the FreeRIDE 400 carbon rear wing. Packages ship in a padded carton with everything you need to assemble and ride. The SES setup is particularly suited to wing foiling, and is also great for wake, SUP/prone surfing and pumping/dock starting.
