The AXIS Progressive rear stab is the all-round tail for intermediate and advanced riders: mostly flat with a subtle tip downturn, thin section and medium aspect for excellent speed and sensational turning. Ten sizes from 475 down to the small 250/56, 275/58 and 300/61 used by James Casey for prone and downwind. Fits all AXIS fuselages.

The AXIS Progressive rear wings pair perfectly with the HPS, ART, BSC and PNG ranges. Mostly flat with a very subtle downturn, they combine excellent speed with sensational turning – you notice the difference in your first carve or gybe.
Medium aspect, with a thin foil section and subtly turned-down tips, the Progressive rolls into the turn beautifully, feels fluid and loose, grips through the carve and transitions out with predictable control and positive acceleration. It’s well-behaved in rough winging conditions and rewardingly quick. Size up for less experience or bigger front wings.
Performance tails for advanced riders, excelling in tow, prone/SUP and wing foiling: higher speeds from lower drag while keeping control, with a small penalty in pump as size decreases. James Casey’s go-to for prone is the 275/58, and the 300/61 for downwinding; the 250/56 is for fast mid-sized wave days.
