Higher aspect ratios and broader spans put more bending and twisting load on the mast, so AXIS developed Power Carbon: a new power profile with carefully considered material selection and placement for superior stiffness and next-level strength. A one-piece design avoids the drag and joint issues of multi-part masts, and the mast tapers thicker near the base plate where loads concentrate. A revised fuselage connection maximises the attachment area for a perfect fit.
The result is a positive connected feel, direct drive, immediate feedback and ultimate control. Power Carbon masts fit all Red and Black fuselages using a simple leading-edge-first install. Use only 30 mm M8 bolts to attach the fuselage.
The standard Power Carbon is 25% stiffer than the industry-leading AXIS 19mm aluminium mast; the Power Carbon High Modulus adds more strength and 35% more bend resistance. Supplied with base plate and cover.
