AXIS Spitfire Front Wing

Imagine a dedicated surf foiling wing that inspires confidence when dropping in, with a gentle, predictable lift onto foil – a foil that not only handles breaches but encourages them, and pumps you back out to do it again. That is the AXIS Spitfire.

You’ll recognise it by its elliptical outline, straight median line and lack of aggressive turndown through the tips. Moderate chords that taper smoothly to the tips give smooth, predictable but precise turning, while reduced foil thickness enhances top end. Much of it was learned in developing the ART PRO range.

The smaller sizes are fast with explosive turning; the larger sizes suit smaller spots and larger riders. Spitfires ride waves or flat water across prone, SUP, winging, wake, downwind, lake pumping and kite foiling.

Spitfire 1180

Increased camber (2.75% vs 2.5%) for big riders and marginal spots: foils up easily, balanced lift at speed, quick recovery from breaches, smooth turning and remarkable low-end glide. AXIS call it a great wing for getting into downwinding, a forgiving dock and pump wing, and a light-wind wing and small-wave SUP weapon.

Spitfire 720

A small high-performance surf wing that bridges prone and tow foil, for bigger, steeper waves and critical manoeuvres – also designed for full-powered wing foiling in waves and freestyle.

Spitfire foils are ideally matched with the Black Advance fuselage and Progressive or Skinny rear wings. Screws are not included – add a stainless or titanium screwset.
