F-One Trigger Brainchild Kite

The F-One Trigger Brainchild is a five-strut, high-aspect big air kite designed by Ralf Grösel. A softer Brainchild canopy gives higher jumps, longer hangtime, a stronger second lift and smoother landings, with lighter steering and a 7-point bridle for control. 5–12m in Plasma.

F-One Trigger Brainchild Kite ✶

The F-One Trigger Brainchild is a big air kite that is both powerful and accessible. Designed by Ralf Grösel and built at the Brainchild factory, it delivers higher jumps, longer hangtime, lighter steering pressure and better comfort and control across the whole wind range.

The biggest change is a completely new canopy in the softer material first used on the Bandit Brainchild. It makes the kite more forgiving, adds a much better second lift and gives a longer, more controlled descent, so landings are noticeably smoother.

What’s new

  • Softer canopy material – longer hangtime, enhanced second lift and smoother landings
  • Redesigned bridle – a one-side fixed bridle for stability and precision when depowered, with a longer depower stroke
  • 7 attachment points – an extra central attachment adds structural stability and lift for strong take-offs
  • Lighter steering pressure – intuitive handling and the same Trigger feel across every size
  • High aspect, five struts – a responsive, sheet-and-go feel

Who it’s for

Intermediate to expert riders who want to boost as high as possible and hang there, with a kite that stays easy to control powered or fully depowered.

F-One performance ratings

  • Upwind and hangtime / vertical lift: 100%
  • Turning radius: 90%; relaunch: 80%
  • Depowered handling and sheet and go: 70%
  • Drift: 60%; unhooked pop: 50%
