The Orca Fin is a pair of curved heelside fins for twintip kiteboards, made by Boardschmiede in Germany. The curve works like a small hydrofoil, adding downforce for more edge grip, harder take-offs and better upwind drive. Fits most twintips with standard 38mm fin spacing.

The Orca Fin replaces the standard heelside fins on your twintip. Made by Boardschmiede in Germany, it has a curved, dual-radius profile that works like a small hydrofoil under the board, pushing the tail down into the water. That gives you more grip on the edge, a harder platform to load up against before you jump, and better upwind drive.
Orca fins were developed for big air and tested by riders including the 2025 King of the Air champions Lorenzo Casati and Nathalie Lambrecht, and by riders at the 2025 Red Bull Megaloop. They aren’t only for big air though: the extra grip, upwind drive and landing control help on any twintip session.
Fitting takes under five minutes. Take-off feels different for the first session or two, because the board holds its edge for longer.
They fit most twintips with standard 38mm fin spacing and M5 screws, including Harlem, Reedin, Lieuwe, Flysurfer, Cabrinha, Naish, Core, Duotone, North and Slingshot. F-One twintips made since 2013 use a non-standard mount and need an adapter. If you’re not sure about your board, call or WhatsApp us and we’ll check before you order.

How many do I need? One set. It has the two fins for your heelside; your toeside fins stay as they are.
Are they only for big air? No. Freeride riders get the same extra grip, upwind drive and landing control.

The curved fin works like a mini hydrofoil, pulling the heelside rail into the water so the board holds its edge instead of skipping out.

With the tail locked in, you can load the board against the kite for longer before you pop. Orca fins were tested by the 2025 King of the Air champions and riders at the 2025 Red Bull Megaloop.

The extra hold on the heelside edge lets you ride closer to the wind without the board sliding away underneath you.

Bolt them into the standard 38mm inserts on the heelside with the stainless M5 screws and washers in the box. Your toeside fins stay as they are, and it takes under five minutes.
