NEW REDUCED WEIGHT DACRON

Slingshot are constantly testing and researching new materials. They have implemented a new Dacron on the leading edge and struts that is lighter and more rigid than past Dacron frames. This means a quicker responding kite and improved light wind performance.

We have been using this kite in store for nearly a year now,
This is a super versatile 3 strut kite, great for foiling or wave riding, however where it really excels is big air and kite loops.

I would happily say this is one of the best boosting kites on the market, it may not hit heights of 5 strut kites like the ozone edge or core XR8 but the trade off for having a 3 strut kite means, great light wind performance , fast turning, light bar pressure and some amazingly quick loops.

The build quality of the slingshot code v1 is next level the new leading edge Dacron is strong and stiff, thin zero pulley bridles means a very direct feeling , a 4×4 Tejin rispstop gives you a flutter free canopy.

The code really pushes a new sector in the kite market and is considerably less in price then it’s competition.

I highly recommend anyone looking for a new kite to take a look at the Code V1, you won’t be disappointed,

The code is your go to for big air & loops plus everything else! The jumps are smooth and the double loft gives you a smooth boost in to the air unlike similar kites like the evo which can snap you in to the air.

It’s confidence inspiring, makes you feel at one with it. I have been through a lot of kites and can safely say this is my favourite!

The service from Karl is like no other. Answers any question, and the follow up customer service is amazing. Highly recommended and I will always support by coming first to Unity watersports for equipment.

Bought 8m and 10m codes at the beginning of the year after a demo with Unity water sports. Previously had ozone edges and enduros. I have flown a lot of other brands over the years.

I am really impressed with the code. Slingshot have upped their game and these look great. Not had any issues with quality either, and I have used them a lot.

The code is very quick and responsive. It really encourages you to loop and I have definitely progressed a lot since using them.

They boost well with good hang time. I have been getting similar height to other specific big air kites.

Also use them for foiling, they have great wind range and light bar pressure. I can get going in very light wind with a 10m.

Can’t fault these kites and would definitely recommend.
