Ozone set out to make the fastest parawing with the best upwind performance on the market, pushing their design programme, riders and factory to the limits, as shown by Axel Mazella’s ground-breaking success on it at the Defi Wing 2026. A higher cell count gives ideal load distribution and a clean canopy in flight. It climbs upwind exceptionally well, makes tacking easy and remains reasonably packable.

The high-aspect design delivers the ultimate upwind performance, which removes the need to coordinate downwind vehicles: start your session at your finishing point, hammer upwind with minimal effort, then make the biggest downwind run possible. Low-end power matches the Pocket Rocket V2, while high-end control goes well beyond it. It’s easy to stash for experienced riders, but it prioritises long downwind runs over rapid stash-and-redeploy.

The leading edge stays clean and rock-solid when loaded, and there’s minimal canopy flap when sheeted out for less drag. It’s designed for hooked-in harness riding, and each Afterburner comes with a Fixed Loop Harness Line attached to the bar. Thinner Kevlar lines on the upper bridle cut drag, while the mid level and risers use the stiffer, tangle-free lines from the Pocket Rocket V2 and PowerPack for good stashing. The monobloc carbon bar weighs just 90g, is 35cm long and has a textured EVA grip, and the backpack-style bag has Mission Pack-inspired shoulder straps.
