AXIS Froth Foilboard

The Froth is a stable platform that packs plenty of volume into a short length, reducing swing weight for more fun when wingfoiling or SUP foiling. For this version AXIS made changes to suit higher-aspect, lower-drag foils that need more speed to lift off.

• No tail chisel – a longer planing surface for more sub-foiling speed
• Reduced rail bevel – fades out before the tail, widening the planing surface and straightening the flow for faster acceleration to foiling speed
• Pulled-in, rounded nose – less likely to catch in rough water, with extra thickness and volume up front for stability on your knees or stepping up
• Deck concave – more leverage to start turns, while feeling secure in a straight line without straps
• Tail pad – lets water caught in the concave flow straight out the back

Froth 55 L

4’6″ × 24″, 55 litres, footstrap inserts. A mid to lower volume Froth for lighter advanced to expert riders: wingfoiling, prone and tow foiling, and an excellent flat-water pump board.

Sizing

AXIS suggest wingers starting out go 20–40 litres above their weight in kg, intermediates around their weight (or 10–15 L above), and advanced riders as small as their skill and the wind allow – stay closer to body weight in gusty conditions. For other AXIS wing boards see the Blast.
